General:
Leak Detection And Repair program for fugitive of non point emission of volatile gases from pipe (Flanges, Fittings, Connectors etc.) and equipment (Pumps etc.).
Scope of work:
- Detalization and classification of equipment and pipes components: Detalization drawing of process facility containing volatile substances, drawing of the following: tanks, flanges, pressure indicators, pumps, etc. Special attention is paid to pipelines conducting volatile substances, which are required to be monitored according to LDAR Program. Detalization is carried out on process flow charts (P&IDs); all the components will be labeled and numbered.
- Monitoring:
Monitoring is carried out by a monitoring instrument (analyzer), approved for LDAR usage by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Israeli environmental authorities. The analyzer is calibrated daily and quarterly according to EPA's Method 21. The client will be notified, if the concentration of volatile organic components surpasses 1000 ppm in any of the checked points. Such concentration indicates a leak to be treated. The leaking equipment is re-monitored after repair by client, verifying that the emission is less than 1,000 ppm.
- Emission report: Estimation of mass emission from equipment will be done according to the guidelines of Israeli Environmental Protection Ministry.
